8-Week Healthy Lifestyle Program:

Private or group sessions offered.  Combining the best of Positive Psychology and Integrative Medicine to help you achieve good health or  overcome or improve management of chronic conditions. The program is based on current medical research including Dr Craig Hassed’s  “Essence of Health” lifestyle program and  Dr Dean Ornish’s  healthy lifestyle programs to address heart disease and cancer.

This program is delivered by Positive Psychology Coach, Educator and Health Practitioner, Caroline MacDonald.

We already contain exactly what it takes to heal, feel content, be inspired, and experience joy. Caroline’s  goal is to help you  to  help yourself ….  to clear away doubt and negativity, stress, and tension so that you can connect with your innate ability to experience physical and emotional freedom and connectedness.  Regardless of whether stress or trauma is physical, emotional or psychological in origin, ultimately it is the body that responds, and these unresolved fight, flight and freeze patterns need to be discharged and released in order for us to return to a calm and relaxed homeostasis. Then we can flourish!

Many different activities and treatments can help you achieve a deep state of relaxation on a temporary basis.   However, for most people, the old  patterns of stress and tension gradually return. This may show up as tight and painful muscles,  headaches, mental stress , anxiety, depression, insomnia, frustration or chronic illness .

Often the underlying cause of the symptoms mentioned above arise from a neurological stress response that has led your body away from homeostatis – it’s most natural state.  So here’s what you can do to create a long term change for the ongoing well-being of your  mind and body.  Ask Caroline to design a treatment plan that includes the principles of Positive Psychology  and Integrative Medicine to help you to thrive.

 Tension/Trauma Release Exercise® (TRE):

Learn how to do TRE and then use this tool whenever you feel the need. It is life-changing.  It is empowering.  You will be amazed by how much you can now do for yourself, instead of putting up with pain or accepting that it will just keep returning after treatments. TRE  awakens your body and enlivens your mind.  It is the perfect way to address tension, stress and even trauma.  It is simple to learn.

TRE is something you can practice on your own, after a few simple lessons, whenever the need arises to discharge stress and restore your body to a relaxed state. So you can take charge and be empowered in your own healing!
